Laboratory Services

At Valley View Animal Hospital we have the ability to perform many routine laboratory procedures as well as being able to submit samples to high quality referral labs for more involved diagnostic tests. 

This 24-hour availability of reliable and accurate testing is a vital function in the prominent care of all pets, both large and small.

Our in house services include: hematology, EKG, serum chemistry, serum electrolytes, microbiology, arterial line pressure, and tonometry, gram staining, cytology, culture/sensitivity, heartworm testing, FELV/FIV testing, Foal IgG, progesterone assays, fecal exams, urinalysis, parvo-virus testing, and giardia testing.  Samples for hormonal assays, surgical pathology, coggins, viral testing, EPM testing, HYPP, genetic blood typing, stone analysis, and fluid analysis are submitted to referral laboratories for appropriate testing.
